E.J. Basler offers Davenport screw machining services. Davenport machines are Multi-spindle screw machines (also called multi spindle lathes) that were designed to machine lathe parts several times faster than conventional lathes.

With capabilities from 1/8′ round to 7/8′ round and up to 13/16 hex, Davenports offer the fastest cycle times for their size. They are all mechanical, cam, and gear driving machines and have a wide variety of attachments for incredible versatility; cross tapping, milling, slotting and cross milling.

E. J. Basler has a lineup of over 40 Davenports as well as 30 dedicated employees in our Davenport department. All focused on running high-volume precision parts in seconds.

Typically used in larger production runs, E. J. Basler’s Davenport machines are 100% American-made machines. They are geared toward high precision, high run, and large quantities. Coupled with our Acme Gridley's, our multi-spindle machines can accommodate bar stock sizes up to 51mm (2”) in diameter, with materials from aluminum to stainless steel.
