Additive Manufacturing

Let’s be honest here, who doesn’t like 3D printers?

They are so culturally significant. Makes you feel like you are finally beginning to live in the age of the Jetsons!

At E. J. Basler we try to incorporate additive manufacturing where ever we can. Albeit, 3D printing is still evolving, as are our skills, but we are excited about how this will help us continue to lead the field and be the best precision parts provider.

Jaws, holders, etc. Check out the picture below for our most recent project in order to continue to drive value and continuous imrpovement.

Summer Running On All Cylinders

This summer we have been going and going and going…

We love to create precision machine parts that really are things of beauty. When I first started working here I was amazed by the incredible tolerances we were able to hold. The scrap colors, the whirl of machinery, and people going by. Working together with the best suppliers in the country for heat treat, material, and plating. We are proud to be an American manufacturer providing jobs and creating opportunities.

“America’s greatest strength has always been its hopeful vision of human progress.” John McCain

The products we make go into items we use in our daily lives faucets, cars, trucks etc. It is a thing of wonder to tangibly sit and hold the items we make.

Please stop by and see for yourself next time you are in the Chicagoland area.

New Eurotech Machines For New Precision Parts

Recently, we have been wanting to increase our capabilities and capacity. Through this desire we have begun to add new machines to our company.

One exciting new development are our Eurotech Machines that we have added to precision machine repertoire.

The machines have a bar fed capacity of Ø2-3/4” (70mm).  Both turrets have y-axis capabilities for complex machining of precision parts.

The best part about this is the opportunity it affords us to make an array of precision parts at competitive cycle times.
