Captain Swenson was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor in 2013 for rescuing fellow soldiers during a barrage of enemy fire. While Captain Swenson was bringing an injured soldier to a helicopter, a medical technician, with a go pro, captured a brief moment when Swenson leaned over to his injured comrade and gave him a kiss before going back to rescue more soldiers. Employee Spotlight: Kathy

kathyejbaslerOh my thanksgiving has come and gone, but we are still thankful here at E. J. Basler. In an effort to highlight our many wonderful employees, we wanted to showcase one person weekly.

Today I wanted to start with Kathy.  Originally from Ecuador, Kathy knows how to cook and dance a mean Salsa but finds true enjoyment from helping others. She is involved in our yearly campaign partnering with Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly. In addition to helping out with her church and working fulltime, she is also going to class at night.
